How do I change product category?

We have two methods to update the existing product sub category such as “One by One” and “Mass Update” method.

To edit your existing product sub category using “One by One” method, kindly follow the steps below using Seller Center.

Step 1: Click on “Products”.

Step 2: Click on “Manage Products”.

 

Step 3: Scroll through the list of products or use the search box to locate the SKU you wish to edit. Please ensure you deactivate the product before proceeding for an edit to avoid inaccuracy of product information.

 

Step 4: Click on “Actions” and drop-down list will appear. Click on “Edit Details”.

 

Step 5: Click on “Back” button to edit the sub category.

 

Step 6: Select the category that you want to amend. Please ensure you click on “Finish Editing” to save the amendment that you have done.

 

To edit your existing product sub category using “Mass Update” method, kindly follow the steps below using CSV file that you exported from Seller Center.

Step 1: Click on “Products”.

Step 2: Click on “Manage Products”.

Step 3: Click on “Export”.

Step 4: Select the category that you want to edit and download the file. Once you download, open it in CSV format.

 

Step 5: Once you open CSV file, please remove unnecessary column and remain the “Seller SKU” and “Primary Category Column”.

 

Step 6: Please make amendments on primary category code accordingly. Refer the latest Category Tree to choose correct category. You may download the Category Tree in seller center.

 

Step 7: Click “Import” and upload the file under “Product Update”.
